The Tondo Duo

Landscapes - an evening of music inspired by nature. Music by Pat Metheny, Stephen Goss, Greg Caffrey, Ciarán Farrell, and Jack Gionis.

The Tondo Duo comprises saxophonist Sophia Elger and guitarist Declan Hickey. Passionate about new music, their repertoire largely consists of works by living composers, including Greg Caffrey, Ciarán Farrell, and Pat Metheny. Earlier this year, they gave the world premiere of Conundrum by Jack Gionis at St John’s Smith Square in their themed programme ‘Classical Rebellion’. The Tondo Duo has performed at venues such as Holy Trinity Sloane Square and The Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall.
