En serie arrangementer med betraktninger rundt Alna.

Våren: 23. april

Kampen Menighetshus.

Bli med på et ettermiddagsarrangement for å feire, "snakke med" og få mange svar på dine spørsmål om elven Alna, både i poetisk form gjennom en walk & art forestilling, og gjennom samtaler. Et panel av folk som kjenner og setter pris på Alna vil svare på spørsmål og snakke om hvordan elven bør behandles for på beste måte å ta vare på det unike økosystemet og hvordan den gamel skogen rundt bør behandles.

Tur fra Bryn til Kampen langs Alna med en historisk innfallsvinkel. Alle er velkomne.

Dørene åpnes i Kampen Menighetshus (plass til 60 personer). Kampen Kaffe & Bar serverer kaffe og te. Gratis adgang.

Kunst fremføres av Kristin Bolstad, Aksel Undset og Brooke Sharkey. Inspirert av Alna denne våren, tolket i en musikalsk, lydlig og poetisk opplevelse.

Speaking With Alna is a series of events with contemplations around Alna River.

Spring 23.april: Come join for an afternoon event to celebrate, ’speak with’ and find out many answers to your questions regarding the river Alna both in poetic form via a walk & art performance and via talks ; including an open conversation.A board of Alna appreciators and connoisseurs will receive your inquiries and speak about the best ways to treat the river relating to her unique ecosystem, waters, and how to best treat the surrounding ancient forest.

12.30 : Join us for a walk along Alna from Bryn to Kværner, starting from Brynseng T-bane at 11.00. We will mostly enjoy the nature, but information will be given about Alna's past, present and future. Alna's water was once an important source of power for the development of industry in Oslo, and several examples of this will be seen on the walk. We will also see more recent developments, and learn of plans for Alna's future.15.00 :Doors open at Kampen Menighets hus. (Limited to 60 place)Kampen Kaffe & Bar will be on hand with Coffee and Tea. Artists Spring:Kristin Bolstad (https://www.kristinbolstad.com)

Kristin Bolstad is a composer, vocalist and musician working with contemporary and experimental music as well as improvisation. Her music is often cinematic and visual with sound based textures, and landscapes of sound mass. Bolstad works with site specific compositions in different acoustic or visual interesting spaces as well as music and sound effects for silent films.Aksel Undset (https://www.isaksisland.com)

Aksel Undset is a Norwegian guitarist, singer and songwriter. Aksel has spent much of his adult life in the UK, where he studied jazz guitar and worked as a musician and teacher. He now lives in Oslo and works mainly as a singer/songwriter with his project Isak's Island. His sounds can be described as intimate and nourishing soundscapes that frame evocative and poetic songs, which hint at 60s and 70s songwriters.Brooke Sharkey (www.brookesharkey.co.uk)

Brooke Sharkey is a singer-songwriter & vocalist and writes in both English and french and who currently lives in Oslo. Starting her musical journey as a busker, she has since released 2 Eps and 2 full length albums ‘One Dress’ (2012) and ‘Wandering Heart’ Her sounds and vocals have been described as ‘emotional …that create a tense air of melancholy that few others can master so simply and so elegantly´.

This project is sponsored by Alna Elvas Venner, Oslo Elveforum and Etterstad Vel. A collaborative project between Brooke Sharkey and Kruttverket, in partnership with Kampen Kaffe & bar and Kampen Menighetshuset and Nordic Black Theatre.
