About the Play: It’s 2019. Geoff Marsh, a retired police officer, has been invited to the Winton Community Centre to deliver a talk. It could be the usual chat about his career, pepped with the useful hints and tips on crime prevention and road safety.

But this is more than that.

It’s the storey of how he became a miner, then a copper. He tells us of the one decision changed his career and of the momentous year that changed him, his community and his life, forever.
