Details

Landscape was of great importance to Barns-Graham early in her career, and then later at critical moments when the inspiration of travel would lead to significant changes in her artistic direction. This richly illustrated talk will chart Barns-Graham’s deep engagement with landscape through her long career. Rob Airey has been Director of the Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Trust since 2017, he was previously Keeper of Art at the Hatton Gallery in Newcastle.
