A rising star of the world of stand-up comedy will launch next years Leek Arts Festival.Top flight comedian Tom Allen - who has made regular appearances on shows including Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Live at the Apollo, The Great British Bake Offs Extra Slice and The John Bishop Show will kick-off the 2018 Festival when he appears at Leeks Foxlowe Arts Centre next year.The sharply-dressed, well-spoken, disparagingly camp son of working class south London, will bring his one man show Absolutely to the moorlands town on April 25th 2018.
