The Symphony: An Exploration

Have you ever listened to a symphony and wanted to know more about it?

A guest speaker will give a talk, along with example musical excerps from the orchestra.

SBMS will then give a full performance of, in Beethoven’s own words, “one of my best works.”

Also on the programme is Beethoven's Romance No. 2 for Violin and Orchestra, with our leader, Simon Ballard, as our violin soloist.
