The Swagger Hazy pschedelic pop which recalls The Mock Turtles and at times Oasis, nicely honed hooky tunes. Recently worked with producer/drummer Graham Bonnar (Swervedriver/Brian Jonestown Massacre) recording their debut EP at the famous Konk studios owned by The Kinks. Brut- Engaging indie pop with hooks aplenty harks back to 80's kit like Orange Juice but also late 70's New Wave, Mink Deville etc, great stuff. Sleaze- Are the ideal band you want to see when you walk into a pub and are providing the sound of broken Britain. The market stalls outside may have swapped the Elastica T-shirts for scented candles nowadays but it seems that inside this bar tonight Britpop has woken up again with a hangover and dodgy stomach. This is the soundtrack to accompany the end of a Tory government visibly on the brink of collapse, fab feet tapping fist-pumping music.
