Details

An outstandingly accurate and thrilling tribute to The Smiths, capturing the band at their best, live, from 1982 - 1987. Celebrating nearly 20 years since they were formed, The Smyths are the UK's longest-established tribute to the one of the greatest bands of all time. A world first as The Smyths play the Strangeways, Here We Come LP in its entirety (something not even The Smiths themselves did). Expect to hear a loving recreation of the live sound of this album including the songs: Girlfriend in a Coma, Paint a Vulgar Picture, I Started Something I Couldn't Finish, Death of a Disco Dancer and the rest of this classic album as it turns 35. The second half will comprise, as ever, of hits and a few fan favourites. If you've not seen The Smyths then you have missed the world's greatest Smiths' tribute. Regularly touring Australia, New Zealand, the U.K and Europe (not to mention often playing Glastonbury), they are renowned for their electric shows and passion for recreation of The Smiths live sound.
