The Show Must Go On - The Musical Theatre Story

Following on from our successful London debut at The Other Palace in 2022, Performers International Productions bring “The Show Must Go On – The Musical Theatre Story” to Guiseley theatre.

This show tells the story of Musical Theatre through the songs and stories that have made the genre such a worldwide phenomenon!

Beginning in the 1920s with the early Talkies, the show charts the songs and the characters from each of the biggest ages of Musical theatre – from the Golden Age (Carousel/Oklahoma/Singing in the Rain/My Fair Lady etc.) through the alternative age (Superstar, Hair, West Side Story etc.) into the Epic/Disney Age (Les Mis/Phantom/Wicked/Aladdin/Lion King etc.) and concluding with a grand rip-roaring finale guaranteed to get the audience up and clapping, celebrating the Jukebox musical (Jersey Boys/Mamma Mia/We Will Rock You)!
