The Scarecows

This is a play based on mental health and how it can effect us. Four people are kidnapped and held in a cellar. Over a ten month period they are mentally and physically tortured, some worse than others. The captor tries to make them fight over food, but their bond is strong and grows ever stronger. As time goes on they're tortured more and fed less, until one day they decide to kill their captor and escape. After their escape they meet at Logan and Karen's house for food and drinks, each of them displaying different signs and symptoms of mental illness spawning not only from their ordeal, but from a tough integration back in to society and the pressure that comes with it.
