The Poetry of Oscar Hammerstein and the American Dream

A charming afternoon tea concert with David Seddon and Philip Vulliamy on piano. Presenting a talk relating popular musicals and the poetry of the song lyric to 20th Century America.

They will provide their usual delightful musical illustrations from Hammerstein's collaborations with Jerome Kern and Richard Rodgers.
