The NE Street Band -'Acoustic Sessions'

‘The NE Street Band’ are a 6 piece group of North East musicians performing the songs of Bruce Springsteen. This fabulous band have gathered amazing momentum over the past few years playing at some great venues both up in the North East & around the UK getting rave reviews from their high energy Springsteen shows. In 2022 the band performed a number of stripped back acoustic shows, including ‘The Old Cinema Launderette’ in Durham all of which subsequently sold out receiving amazing feedback from fellow Springsteen fans who loved the intimate, fun & engaging nature of these shows, as well as the more varied set list. So throughout 2023, and continuing into this year, whenever possible the band are performing these stripped back shows at selective venues, so it is a pleasure to be able to bring them to our lovely theatre on Sat July 20th. These shows include a number of the folk inspired ‘Seeger Sessions’ tracks as well as reworked versions of classic Springsteen songs, duets & several cover versions from Bruce’s eclectic back catalogue all performed on acoustic guitars, flute, harmonica, upright bass, percussion & brushes, tambourine, saxophone, piano, accordion and all topped off with the bands fantastic harmonies.
