Marsha de Thornley Head is particularly renowned for her keyboard improvisations and is a musical synaesthete. She gives Lecture Recitals on the History of Keyboard music, playing her extensive collection of early keyboards dating from the 1700's to her modern Concert Grand piano. Pieces likely to include: Passacaglia - Cruelty has a Human Heart (A Divine Image, William Blake) Innocence Lost Siciliana (for Jeanie) Berceuse for Madeleina Aria Sarabande Conductus Song of the Snow Ass Homage to Georg Tintner Rattus rattus Improvisations on the spot from any two notes given by members of the audience.
