Details

Transatlantic folk trio, The Magpies, have recently announced that they will be hosting their first festival - The Magpies Festival - which will take place on Saturday 14th August in the stunning parkland of York's stately home, Sutton Park.

The line-up is set to include the likes of Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys, Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra, Blair Dunlop, Katherine Priddy and Dan Webster, with more exciting names to be announced.

Music will take place over one day, with camping tickets available for those who want to spend the night in the grounds. The festival will be family-friendly, the perfect opportunity to introduce your children to live music with the freedom to run around beautiful parkland. An excellent variety of local caterers will provide food and drink, including independent Malton-based brewery, Brass Castle. Established to be adaptable to any change in government guidelines, it’s one festival that looks set to go ahead this summer.
