7-piece jazz outfit The Jitter Kings residency will showcase some of London's finest young jazz singers. This time it's the turn of the outstanding Georgia Van Etten.
Drawing on inspiration from the likes of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald to Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman, The Jitter Kings will be playing jazz music from the Swing Era and Dixieland.
Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Van Etten packed one tiny suitcase six years ago and headed for the U.K. Impressively, she has played the likes of Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Porretta Soul Festival (Italy), Falls Festival (Australia), Ealing Blues Festival (UK) and headlined London Omeara.
