900th Anniversary Concert
As part of The High School of Glasgow ’s year-long programme of events to celebrate its 900th anniversary, the School is hosting a Whole School Gala Concert on Monday 17th June 2024 at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
Drawing on the High School’s 12th century roots as the Choir School of Glasgow Cathedral, the first half of the concert will feature our choirs, who will each perform a variety of music from traditional Scottish, to Baroque classics, to rock music. Following the interval, the second half will commence with the Percussion Ensemble, followed by our various bands and orchestras, before a special concluding performance.
With nearly one third of current High School pupils involved in the Gala Concert, it's set to be a wonderful evening showcasing the joy of music and the talents of our myriad performers.
