A spectacular evening of music as we journey through songs that have stood the test of time in their life and legacy.

With readings performed by Dr John Florance, who presented BBC Radio Leicester for over 30 years, and music provided by Glyn Kerslake and Elaine Glover.

Both Elaine and Glyn are experienced West End (The Phantom Of The Opera, Les Miserablé, and Miss Saigon) and television actors/singers. The evening focuses on four composers of the era - Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, and Cole Porter.

John shares interesting facts about the lives of these men, and intertwined throughout are well-known songs by these composers that audiences love to hear, such as 'Someone To Watch Over Me', 'I Get A Kick Out Of You', 'Delovely', and 'Just The Way You Look Tonight'.
