The Fallen | A New Scottish Musical

Many thousands of women, most of them young and unmarried, were forced to give up their babies for adoption until the late 1970s. In 2023, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon issued a formal apology for the practice describing it as ‘unjust and profoundly wrong’

‘The Fallen’ focuses on a number of stories from the girls who were cruelly labelled ‘The Fallen Girls’.

This is a story that needs to be told.
