Designed for age 11+, but all are welcome The exhibition, Creative Connections has connected young people with contemporary artists to create new art, exploring people and places. The exhibition presents portraits and inspirational stories of people associated with Coventry - including George Eliot, EM Forster, Philip Larkin, The Specials, and many more. Delia Derbyshire, a Coventry born key figure in electro musician and sound design is celebrated with a reproduction of 2018 artwork by STEWY on the Ellen Terry building, opposite the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum. The City is Full of Noises – in collaboration with the students of Coventry University and modular synth artists is putting on a day of celebration for all that is modular/synth and Coventry. An audio narrative of the exhibition/ Herbert will be gathered and shared as a sound library - all are invited to download and sample the library, creating and sharing unique sound pieces.
