The Big Snooze & Bite Me

The TOADS Spring Show for 2024 will be a double bill of two short comedy murder mystery plays written by Bruce Kane, “The Big Snooze” and “Bite Me”, featuring hard-boiled private eye “Dick Shamus”

In the first adventure, “fictional detective” Shamus sets out to find who killed his old pal Humpty Dumpty, then for the second adventure he heads to Transylvania to investigate the disappearance of the country's virgins.

These quirky plays are in the “radio play” or “script in hand” format – they are written to be performed by actors at microphones reading from scripts (in the style of an old-time radio broadcast) but performed to a live audience.
