Teresa Livingstone & Diona Doherty

Details

Two for the price of one but double trouble with two of Northern Ireland's funniest comedians.

Teresa is a musical comedian who covers everything from sleazebags in bars to becoming the proud owner of 'going out leggings' with a bit of cake and wine thrown in for good measure. She spent her thirties being delighted by the success of others and her ever-fluctuating weight but her forties are here and there’s no time like the present to rewrite the rules and sing what’s on her mind. As seen on BBC’s Blame Game, Soft Border Patrol and Late Licence, with a piano, a gin, and the voice of a woman who has reached the point of no return, Teresa is ready to share.

Diona Doherty is making waves in the entertainment world from all angles. She played Katya in Derry Girls for Ch4/Netflix, starred in three series of BBC improvised comedy Soft Border Patrol and can be seen as Grainne in BBC's Give My Head Peace. Diona played the lead in BBC Sounds series What Happens In Ulster, is a series regular in A Perforated Ulster as well as appearing in TV drama Penance for Ch5 and new comedy pilot Dry Your Eyes for BBC.

This event is part of Portico's 2022 Comedy Arts Festival taking place 16-25 Sept and supported by Ards and North Down Borough Council.
