Details

Talisk promises a captivating demonstration of just why this “full-throttle trio” ranks among amongst the most in-demand groups on Scotland’s contemporary folk scene. Individually, Mohsen Amini, Graeme Armstrong and Benedict Morris have clocked up industry accolades and together, they’ve toured internationally, stacking up awards (including Folk Band of the Year at the BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards) for their explosively energetic, artfully woven sound. Folk and Honey described their 2021 Celtic Connections show as “a whirling force of interlocking tunes”. In the hands of these master craftsmen, three acoustic instruments merge into one bold, original sound.

“Doubling the power of three” (Scotsman)
