Switch Workshop

We're excited to be doing another Switch workshop with some more new, Rueda de Amistad curated, switch moves!

Rueda Switch is an exciting and super fun rueda format where the leaders and followers switch roles. Adentro/Afuera flips the orientation of the rueda.

In this workshop we will review some of the basic switch calls, and revise adentro/afuera calls covered in previous workshops in the first hour. The second hour will introduce completely new, never before seen transitions!

This workshop will be open to anyone who can both lead and follow in rueda and is aimed at intermediate/advanced level (ask if you're not sure whether it's for you!) You must be able to both lead and follow basic rueda calls (dileque no, enchufle, directo, sombrero, lazo, cero, pasaela) to join us, so if you're not confident in one of your roles, we would highly recommend that you attend a few Salsa Explosion salsa and rueda classes in your less familiar role to prepare. Please let us know in rueda class if you want to practise your least confident role so that we can support you!
