Susan Cadogan

Trojan Records recording artist Susan Cadogan broke through to a worldwide audience in 1975 with her Lee 'Scratch' Perry produced single 'Hurts So Good'. A reggae version of a song originally recorded by both Katie Love & Millie Jackson, 'Hurts So Good' went on to reach #4 in the UK single charts after several live 'Top of the Pops' appearances. Further singles followed such as 'Love Me Baby', 'In The Ghetto', 'Do It Baby', 'Piece of My Heart', 'Tracks of My Tears', & the Ruddy Thomas collaboration '(You Know How To Make Me) Feel So Good' amongst many others. Susan Cadogan has recorded 12 albums and over 40 singles to date. She has worked alongside Ken Boothe, Mad Professor, Ruddy Thomas, Glen Adams, Crabs Corporation, & The Magnetics. Susan Cadogan is one of Jamaica's finest musical exports and she remains one of Trojan Records' foremost female artists. An AGMP presentation.
