Well-known for its high calibre productions, Starlight Musical Theatre signed off in 2019 with its sell-out show, Shrek. With the pandemic now under control, they are back in September 2023 to bring you one of the most iconic shows in recent times, Sunshine on Leith. Written by Stephen Greenhorn and with songs by The Proclaimers, this amateur production of Sunshine on Leith is a funny, yet uplifting story of family, friendship and love. It features hits such as: I'm On My Way, I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), Letter from America, and the heart wrenching title song, Sunshine on Leith.
