Join us for a Sunday Walkthrough - a gallery tour where artists, experts, researchers and academics give short talks in their field of expertise relating to the concepts explored in our exhibitions.

In Gallery One we are currently presenting REꓘONCILIATION, the first solo exhibition in a European institution by multidisciplinary artist, musician and social researcher Julian Abraham ‘Togar’ (b.1987, Indonesia).

In this walkthrough, curator, researcher, and sound archivist Andrea Zarza will illuminate connections between the works in Togar's exhibition and recent writings on sound, listening, and sound recording technologies. By taking the artist's banners with statements such as ‘ears have self-cleaning mechanism’ and ‘ears have no self-defense mechanism’ as a point of departure, Andrea will situate Togar's sonic world within global and contemporary sound scholarship.
