Sunday Lunch: Kaw Regis

After establishing himself in his native Brazil working with a series of iconic bands (Decalcomania, Expresso, and Tubarão) multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer Kaw Regis reached new heights of success upon moving to the UK. Highlights include collaborations with Max Priest & Alcione, as well as performances for Mick Jagger and Princess Anne. Kaw’s first musical love is jazz & bossa nova, and for this 606 show he will be joined by some of London’s finest Latin jazz musicians, John Crawford-piano, Matheus Nova-bass & Marius Rodrigues-drums. Featuring songs from different eras and regions, as well as original material, this promises to be a memorable afternoon of unique interpretations.
