About Enjoy a summer evening tour of Newcastle's Castle Keep on the longest day of the year. Your knowledgeable guide will reveal the secrets of this amazing building, and entertain you with stories and legends before heading to the Great Hall for refreshments in the form of Medieval Pine Candies made to an authentic 14th century recipe and fruited Gin cocktails. Afterwards, our guide will take you to the roof to enjoy the spectacular views over Newcastle on the first evening of summer.

Suitability This is a walking tour of a Grade 1 listed historical monument, so please wear suitable footwear. Unfortunately the Castle Keep is not a fully accessible building, so you will need to be able to manage a significant number of stairs during the event. The Castle Keep may be cold in the evening, despite the summer weather, so please dress appropriately!
