Southwell Music Festival 10th Anniversary Launch Concert

A free concert to announce the programme for the 2024 Southwell Music Festival.

As well as the programme announcement, there will be performances from a selection of artists who will perform at this year's Festival. We'll be joined by our 2024 string apprentices, The Sonas Quartet, who formed in 2022 at the Guildhall School of Music, as well as performances from soprano Alison Rose and pianist Libby Burgess.

The Sonas Quartet will play excerpts from Mozart's String Quartet No.14, Spring in G Major and Janacek's Quartet No.1, 'The Kreutzer Sonata'.

Admission to the concert is free, with the option of making a donation to the Festival. After the concert, you are warmly invited to join us for refreshments in the Crossing.
