Southwell Minster Music Foundation Summer Concert

Join the combined choirs of Southwell Minster for their annual end-of-year concert. This year's concert will in particular be marking significant anniversaries of two very different composers: Leonard Bernstein and Charles Villiers Stanford. The Cathedral Choir and the Minster Chorale will combine to perform Bernstein's vivid setting of Hebrew psalmody, the 'Chichester Psalms'; and several works by Stanford, both familiar and unfamiliar, will be performed. The Choristers will also sing Benjamin Britten's timeless festive cycle, 'A Ceremony of Carols', with harp accompaniment.
