Details

Somewhere Over England, along with Tears For Fears and The Korgis emerged from the Bath local music scene of the 1980s - probably the greatest period for popular music in the city.

One of the most popular bands in Bath at the time, Somewhere Over England finally gained recognition and chart success in 1991 not in the UK but in Spain with their huge melodic summer epic If I Ever Fail in Love finally reaching the No 1 slot in September of that year and remaining one of the most iconic tracks from that unique era.

Quintessentially a band with an 80's sound and sensibility, the music has now matured to feature more instruments and a folk feel.

Live the band play their songs from the 80's and 90's plus their more contemporary nuanced folk songs.
