Sohrab Pournazeri & Sahar Boroujerdi

Sohrab Pournazeri is a virtuoso of tanbour, kamancheh and setar, whose music has surpassed the borders of Iran, fusing with cultures and artists as far and wide as China and the United States. He is also well versed in the regional music of his native Iran, as well as western classical music. As a soloist and vocalist, Pournazeri has collaborated with artists and ensembles worldwide – including Mohammad-Reza Shajarian, Shujaat Husain Khan and the Pacific Symphony. In this concert he is joined by Sahar Boroujerdi, one of the most talented vocalists of Iranian traditional music. She already performed several times at Paris’ Theatre de la Ville and around the world at Bozar and Fes World Festival of Sacred Music.
