DJs Ben Osborne and Guests congregate for Slipped Disco at the Disco Pub. Influential long running night club Slipped Disco throws a London relaunch party at Hoxton’s iconic Disco Pub.Slipped Disco originally emerged during London's electroclash period and was the first night to attract some of Paris’ rising stars of the era, such as Sebastian and Kavinsky. With an emphasis on party music for an eclectic crowd, expect anything from disco to post punk, jazz, street soul, techno, hip hop, reggae, electro, funk, breaks, house, Afro, Asian, Italo… Ben Osborne is described as a “polymath” by Time Out (London) and is the founder of music and art project Noise of Art. He’s pioneered activities such as late night music events in galleries in London and immersive film and music events. He plays clubs and festivals across Europe, has written books on electronic music and the Arctic Monkeys, and his cross platform artworks have featured on TV. Long serving East London funkster Auntie L cut her DJ teeth at Soho’s soul and funk station the Dive Bar in the 90’s. She returns to Shoreditch fresh from playing at Manchester’s Escape From Freight Island and Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music.
