One of Scotland's foremost folk-based singers, Siobhan Miller is an exceptional talent, renowned for her unique vocal style paired with evocative song-writing. Siobhan's rich melodies combine the sounds of indie and alternative music with those from her folk and traditional roots.
Growing up in a musical family, Siobhan was immersed in traditional song and learned from many of Scotland's finest source singers in her early years as a performer. She won the 2018 BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Traditional Track (for Banks of Newfoundland), whilst also nominated for Folk Singer of the Year, and is the only ever three-time winner of Scots Singer of the Year at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.
Her latest solo album All is Not Forgotten was released in April 2020. This concert was filmed and recorded at the Traverse, Edinburgh in August this year and features tracks from her new album. Siobhan is one of the finest young voices on the Scottish folk scene, and is backed by some of Scotland's leading musicians: Euan Burton on bass, Charlie Stewart on fiddle, and Innes White on guitar.
