Simon Spillett is a multi-award-winning saxophonist, big band leader, recording artist, author and jazz historian. "Tubby" Hayes was an English tenor saxophonist who played alongside Ronnie Scott and with trumpeter Jimmy Deuchar. Simon's 2015 biography of Tubby; The Long Shadow of The Little Giant was nominated among the top books of 2015 by The Guardian.
