SCS present Ensemble Concertante

South Coast Symphonia are pleased to launch our lunchtime recital series. Our orchestra members include the most talented artists on the South Coast, many of whom perform as smaller ensembles. In this series we will introduce you to a selection of our players and invite you to enjoy a fabulous selection and variety of music.

Our first South Coast Symphonia recital will be performed by Ensemble Concertante, an exciting clarinet quartet composing Robert Blanken, Jennie Flatman, Naomi Rides and Spencer Bundy. Their programme will include a broad palette of styles from classical, jazz and contemporary music that have delighted and moved audiences all over the country. Collectively, they have performed internationally as soloists, recorded for Radio 3, Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night, and with numerous orchestras and chamber groups locally and further afield. Previously, they were interviewed by BBC Radio 4 journalist Jenny Cuffe exploring craft, creativity and career in the series Hyde 900’s The Art of Conversation.
