A comedy in the true sense of the world, Sand Castles is a wonderful summer offering by the co-writer of BBC TV's The Good Life.
We all like to be beside the seaside and as everybody knows, an Englishman's home is his (sand) castle. Life’s a beach for the Billets and the Pattersons who have been taking their holidays in the same English seaside resort for years and have turned the area around their beach huts into a cozy little fiefdom. However, this year, the arrival of Doug and his nubile nieces spells trouble. They just want to have fun in the sun and don't give a hoot for beach hut protocol. How will the regular holidaymakers cope with a cast of characters who seem determined not to let them have it all their own way?
