Continuing our yearly season of classic plays with the Kenneth More Theatre’s professional company and produced by the same team who brought you last year’s production of Macbeth this year’s classic is Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Colourful, lively and oozing a late 1950’s, early 1960’s ambience, this version is cool and crazy, summoning up the worlds of Rebel Without a Cause and American Graffiti, pitching wholesome, traditional families against teenagers with a growing sense that the world is changing and that falling in love isn’t just for adults.
