ROCK & POP

This year’s student Rock & Pop events at Festival on The Close promise to be the best yet! Once again, we take to the main stage for an eclectic mix of high quality student performances, and this year we have a number of different performances enabling us to showcase even more music. You’ll hear pop, rock, metal, indie and funk to name but a few! There will be solo performance accompanied by our incredible staff band, and also some high energy performances by student bands. The songs are all chosen by the pupils based on their skill set and tastes in music, and they practise all year to develop their ensemble, performance and individual playing ability to make these really high quality, polished events. Playing on the Festival stage is the highlight of our year!
