We are proud to welcome Dublin troubadour ROB CORCORAN to Durham City where he will be performing an intimate solo set at Claypath Deli. Rob is a well-respected figure on the roots scene and notably, folk legend Christy Moore is a big fan. Christy regularly includes a version of Corcoran's Ringing That Bell in his live set and the song is included on Moore's 2019 live album, 'Magic Nights'. Corcoran's lyrically compelling, beautifully observed songs are drenched in Celtic soul, drawing from the same deep well that serves Van Morrison and Mike Scott. Present too is a strong thread of influence from the poetry of John Prine, Hank Williams and Leonard Cohen.

'This man can surely sing....[and] he says some things that need to be said' - Christy Moore

'I implore you to check him out, this guy is special.' - Americana UK 9/10

'From the moment he steps on stage, Corcoran perspires authenticity in that fluent way that a hundred record execs have tried and failed to manufacture'. - Anne Frankenstein: Jazz FM (UK)
