RCGT - Talk: Ve Day And After

The talk takes place at Exeter Guildhall.

All proceeds from this talk will go to the Lord Mayor's chosen charity FORCE Cancer Charity.

The presenter will be our Exeter Redcoat Guide, Jon Bell.

A virtual walk around the sights and sounds of the city on VE day and immediately afterwards.

This talk captures an extraordinary moment in Exeter's history. Residents were still dealing with the aftermath of wartime destruction whilst at the same time planning for the future.

Illustrated by astonishing archive photographs; there will even be a couple of songs!
