Beginning in Bakewell, this 13-mile walk heads northwards along the Monsal Trail through spectacular Peak District scenery to Blackwell Mill. Along the way, an expert guide with 30 years experience of leading guided walks in the area tells the story of the railway line, from its creation in the 1860s to its closure in the 1960s. It then follows the private road running through the peaceful Wye Dale, before climbing the dale side and crossing the hilltop fields for the final four miles to the finish in the spa town of Buxton.

Due to the current Coronavirus regulations, places on the walk are limited to a maximum of five people, who must all be from the same household. Therefore, online pre-booking is essential. Discounted family rates are available on request.
