Details

"Refugees don't exist. Only Blown away people exist, people blown by the wind all over the world."

Mirad, A Boy From Bosnia is a play about a boy escaping the war in Bosnia in 1992. His tragic story is told by his aunt Fazila and his uncle Djuka, taking back and forth in time with their reminiscences, diary entries and letters. For their Final Major Project PTP year 2 brings us this tale. With timely echoes of current global conflicts this play is a moving, dramatic and often tragic depiction of the impact of war on the lives of the innocent. Not soldiers, but people. People blown by the wind.
