Although they hail from the dark, misty valleys of Darwen, Lancashire, UK, youd be forgiven for eyeballing the flares, leather jackets and haircuts, and placing them at Los Angeles sunset strip in the 1970s. However, dont mistake their flamboyant attire for style over substance, as they maintain a down to earth, steely Northern attitude and swagger. The bands sound has an unmistakably retro feel, combining elements of Rock & Roll, Power Pop, Americana, Country & Soul. Their influences include Fleetwood Mac, Jefferson Starship, Blondie, The Supremes, The Beatles, Heart & The Rolling Stones. Despite wearing nostalgia unashamedly on their sleeve, they still seem to create something that sounds completely fresh and new, bringing the old-school kicking and screaming into the 2020s, with modern production values and pop sensibilities.
