Thornton Hough Village Club presents Paul Nowak plus guests The Wood and Kench & Taylor.

Birkenhead based singer-songwriter Paul Nowak sings songs about love, politics and cowboys. His debut EP Cowboy Songs & follow up People Like You are available on Spotify and Bandcamp.

After gigs at London's Hope and Anchor, Green Note, St Pancras Old Parish Church & Betsey Trotwood, Paul is coming home to Thornton Hough with support from Heidi Smith on violin, Gav Lochhead on bass and Jim Kench on cajon.

The Wood

Singer Alex Evans and guitarist/producer Steve Powell return for their third appearance at Thornton Hough. They will be playing an acoustic set, accompanied on the night by Dylan Robert on guitar. Their highly anticipated debut album is due for release mid 2024.

Kench & Taylor

Following a sold out tour in Italy, Kench and Taylor travel up from the south west to make their debut in Thornton Hough.

Kench and Taylor blend acoustic guitar with swirling, ambient electric guitar supporting Jim's seasoned vocal to create a unique and memorable soundscape. Jim Kench started out singing and playing guitar and percussion in local venues in South West England going on to play across the UK and Europe with the bands Kerb and later Safehaus, well as performing as a solo singer/songwriter.
