Our Atlantic Roots

An evening of chilled alt-folk and country music by husband and wife duo, Our Atlantic Roots. Over the past couple of years, the transatlantic duo have been releasing music and making waves across the south-west music scene and beyond. With over 2 million streams worldwide, various BBC TV and radio features, and festival appearances at the likes of Beardy Folk Festival, Between The Trees and Cornwall Folk Festival. The duo have received commendation for their songwriting and performance from hit song writer, Mark Cawley, (Tina Turner, Paul Carrack, Kathy Mattea).

During their 90-minute performance, Mac and Laura take their listeners on a journey, merging their American and British roots in their style of song, and sharing hopeful and poetic lyrics that are accompanied by Mac’s impressive and soothing style of acoustic guitar playing.
