NoGood Boyo

Celtic Connections proudly presents NoGood Boyo.

Their motto is “go loud or go home boyo” and we challenge you to sit still when this bunch take the stage. NoGood Boyo combine traditional Welsh folk with many other influences and despite being named after a “bad boy” character from Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood, their only motivation is to “cause havoc with Welsh trad music and tear up the festival dance tent”. Hailing from different corners of Wales, each is influenced by their local heritage, from fishing to mining, but their music also addresses contemporary issues. Fascinated by Celtic music of all kinds, they’re a perfect festival fit.
