Nik Svarc Trio

The Nik Svarc Trio bring a variety of influences together to unite modern groove with Improvisation.

Nik Svarc has played at various Jazz and Popular music Festivals. Most notably Birstonas Jazz Festival in Lithuania, Manchester Jazz Festival, Marsdon Jazz Festival, Wigan Jazz Festival, Southport Jazz Festival,Leeds Jazz Festival, The 02 Wireless Festival (Hyde Park) and Gateshead international jazz festival, Soho Jazz Jam, London Jazz festival and international dates in Poland.

Nick is a member of bassist Scott Devine’s Project featuring Louie Palmer (Mike Stern/Janek Gwizdala) and Russell Van Den Berg (Kenny Wheeler/Carla Bley/Phil Woods). He is also the Guitarist in the Russell Van Den Berg Quartet appearing on two Album’s ‘Aquitaine Heights’ and ‘Aphonia’.

Alongside being a working musician and composer Nick also teaches in and around the London and Leeds areas at various educational institutions and is a highly accomplished teacher in some of Leeds most outstanding schools.
