Ness Night Out

Details

Myself and Sobar Inverness have come together to create this event to encourage a safe space for all on a night out! This means we will be implementing all of the demands of the Night In Movement into this event and also providing FREE(as they should be) anti-spiking devices to all those who are attending. While we decided to boycott clubs, our mission as a campaign is not to punish clubbers. We want to work with bars and clubs to be able to provide these safe spaces in which we all feel comfortable and can enjoy our night out without the fear and alert of being spiked🫂 As a reminder, the demands of the Night In Movement are: 💗Prevention: Regular and comprehensive welfare training for bar and club staff as well as agency staff like security. 💗Welfare: Clubs and bars should provide anti-spiking devices and equipment such as drinks covers and spiking test strips to aid prevention and detection. This should be available to anyone upon request. Clubs should also have a designated and identifiable welfare officer who is trained to help ensure the safety of club-goers. 💗Support: Clubs should have a clearly communicated zero-tolerance policy on spiking. Clubs should also have a clear written procedure available to staff and customers which is accessible and inclusive to all. We are very grateful to be having the support of very well-known local DJs who will be live performing at the event… These are Scott Langley, Mulli and Josh Ross! (need I have to introduce them). We are also extremely grateful to be provided our PA System by the amazing Sean at HLS Sound🤩 Thank you so much again you superstars!!👏 🫂ALL PROFITS WILL BE GOING TO AN ANTI-SPIKING CHARITY🫂
