Mr Straw's House Worksop Walk

Mr Straw's house is a time capsule of an aspirational working class family. Starting from Mr Straw's House in Worksop, our team will lead you on a walk through the town of Worksop. Telling the history of the town and its relationship with the Straw family you will discover how this once prosperous town had over 2500 visitors per day. As you retrace the footsteps of the family from home to work and their final resting place. The walk takes around 3 hours including the Worksop museum, before returning to the family home. If you wish to tour the house at the end of your walk remember to book this in advance as we cannot guarantee there will be spaces.
